What is OneRice, exactly?
Ready-to-heat Indonesian meals — think of it like an instant noodle, but for proper rice dishes. Each tray is fully cooked, sterilized, and sealed. You heat it, peel it, and eat it.
Is this an instant meal, or frozen food?
Neither! Our trays are shelf-stable — you can keep them in the cupboard at room temperature. We use a sterilization process (similar to how European ready-meals work) instead of freezing or adding preservatives.
Does it actually taste good?
Yes — and we'd be a weird marketing site if we said anything else. But honestly: we designed the recipes to taste like the real thing. Comforting, familiar, the kind of food you'd make at home if you had the time.

Ingredients

Are there preservatives?
No. Tanpa bahan pengawet. Our shelf life comes from sterilization, not chemistry. You can read the full ingredient list on every pack — it's short on purpose.
Is it halal?
Yes — certified halal by BPJPH. Our certification number is printed on every pack.
Any MSG?
No added MSG. For our flavored rice dishes (Nasi Uduk, Nasi Hainam, Nasi Goreng Mentega, Chef's Special) we lean on natural aromatics — bawang goreng, daun salam, lemongrass, kecap manis. Plain rice SKUs are just rice and water.
Vegetarian / vegan options?
Some of our SKUs are vegetarian — check the ingredient list on the back of every pack for the specific dish. A fully vegan Nasi Uduk is on our 2026 roadmap.

Storage & Safety

How long does it last outside the fridge?
6 months from the production date, sealed, at room temperature — no fridge needed. Check the date printed on the side panel.
Is the packaging safe to heat?
Yes. Our trays are food-grade plastic tested by Indonesia's Ministry of Industry (Lab Analysis No. 1192/KMP/2025). No heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium) and no solvent residue (ethanol, acetic acid, chloroform) detected — safe at microwave and boil-in-pouch temperatures.
Can I bring it on a plane?
Yes — in checked baggage, no problem. Carry-on depends on the airline's rules on sealed food (most are fine, but check).
How do I heat it?
Microwave: tear a corner of the inner pouch, microwave 3 minutes on high.
Boiling: drop the sealed pouch into boiling water, 3 minutes.

Do you ship outside Jakarta?
Yes, via Tokopedia to all of Indonesia. International shipping isn't available yet — it's a frequent request, so it's on our list.
